When a commercial truck breaks down, PTI can dispatch mobile service to diagnose and repair qualifying problems at the truck's location when conditions permit.
Roadside work is a part of what PTI does — not the whole business. Most of PTI's work is scheduled mobile fleet maintenance and repair. When you do go down, the same technicians and the same documentation apply.
- Safe access is requiredPTI must be able to reach and work on the truck safely. Some highway shoulders, travel lanes, restricted properties, and unsafe locations cannot be worked.
- The location mattersDistance, site access, lighting, weather, and available space all affect whether a repair can be completed on location.
- The repair has to be field-repairableSome failures require equipment and conditions that cannot be reproduced at a breakdown location. PTI will tell you honestly when that is the case.
- Parts availabilityOn-location repair depends on the required parts being on the service truck or obtainable from a local supplier at the time of the call.
Roadside hours: 24 hours a day, Monday through Sunday.
After-hours labor between 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM is billed at time and a half.

Paperwork Handled From Your Phone
Every step of a PTI service call is documented and sent to you directly, so approvals never hold up a truck.
1. You call or send a request
Tell PTI the unit, the location, and the problem. PTI confirms availability and applicable service-call and travel charges before dispatch.
2. PTI comes to the truck
A service truck is dispatched to your fleet yard, terminal, jobsite, parking location, or breakdown location with tools and common parts.
3. You approve by text or email
You receive a direct link to the estimate and repair authorization and approve it from a phone. Additional repairs discovered mid-job require separate approval before the work continues.
4. Documented and invoiced
Work is documented with photos and kept as per-unit repair history. Digital invoices can be paid online by card. Wheel retorque follow-up is documented when a wheel is removed or installed.
