Refund & Warranty Policy

PTI Truck Repair LLC stands behind our work. This policy covers refunds for services and payments, and our workmanship warranty.

Workmanship warranty

All labor we perform is warrantied for 90 days or 10,000 miles, whichever comes first, against defects in workmanship. If a repair fails during the warranty period and the failure is due to our work, we will re-perform the repair at no labor cost.

Parts we install carry the manufacturer's warranty. We will honor the manufacturer's warranty by re-installing warranted replacement parts at no labor cost during the warranty period.

What the warranty does not cover

• Damage from accident, collision, misuse, neglect, or modification.
• Normal wear items (brake pads, tires, filters, fluids) beyond the manufacturer's stated life.
• Repairs performed by another shop after our service.
• Consequential damage (towing beyond direct service, lost freight revenue, rental costs, etc.).

Refunds on services

Because automotive labor is performed on-site and cannot be "returned," we do not offer refunds for completed labor. However, if you believe a service was not performed as agreed, contact us within 7 days of the invoice date and we will investigate and, if the concern is verified, either re-perform the work or issue a partial credit at our discretion.

Refunds on parts

Unused, uninstalled parts in original packaging may be returned within 14 days for a refund minus a 15% restocking fee. Electrical parts, special-order parts, and any parts installed on the vehicle are non-refundable.

Cancellations

You may cancel scheduled service at no charge with 24 hours' notice. Same-day cancellations of scheduled roadside dispatch may incur a $75 dispatch fee if a technician has already been dispatched.

Disputing a card charge

Before disputing a charge with your card issuer, please contact us first — we can almost always resolve billing questions directly and refunds process within 5–10 business days back to the original card.

Chargebacks and disputes

Filing a chargeback for a legitimate charge (as opposed to a billing error) may result in the vehicle being held under North Carolina's mechanic's lien statutes until the balance is resolved.
